The Half-Step Choo-Choo.

 

Walkings great. It's easy. It burns lots calories. 

But how do you kick-in a (real fat-burning) turbo-charger?

Without running. Or power-walking? Or blowing a gasket?

 

How? Get yer shoes (Footwear) on. Here's how-

 

Walking (Combined) Exercises. Easy walking exercise. Combined with controlled, coordinated, natural arm and upper body movements.

 

Benefits: It's easy. It feels great. It burns fat - fast!

  • Coordination

The Basic Combined Exercise: The Walking Half-Step, Basic Arm Position, Alternating (natural cadence) Arm Swing, Exaggerated Circular (up & down) Arm Movement, Gradual Intensity, Calorie Burning, Aerobic Walking Weight Loss Exercise. Got all that? You’ll see.

 

Call it: The Half-Step Choo-Choo. It’s actually pretty basic. Real easy-to-do. A lot of fun! And - It's a real calorie/fat-burner!

 

Walking Pace/Adjusted Stride. Nice, easy, steady, breathe!

 

·         Use your Normal walking cadence/pace

·         Shorten stride: half-step. Or quarter-step

·         Normal upper arm-swing/basic arm position

 

Arm Movement: arms/elbows at (comfortable) up angle on backswing. Hands and forearms arcing round/down in forward swing.

 

Think: Little Steam Engine. Ready?

 

Half-Step (short stride)

Normal Cadence (walking pace)

  • Upper Arm: Natural Swing (back-and-forth)
  • Lower Arm: Exaggerated Swing (up-and-down)

Your walking (half-stepping). Arms should be going round and round in an exaggerated back-and-forth circular motion.

You know. The chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga motion. Like a choo-choo train. Remember?

 

That's the Half-Step Choo-Choo. Kinda fun isn't it? Feels pretty good too!

 

  • Go easy. Deliberate. Control.
  • Half-Stepping. Not stomping.
  • Don't forget to breathe!

 

Careful! This can get you light-headed real quick. That's the (fat burning) turbo kick'n in. Breathe!

You’re feeling pretty good-better. Found your easy pace and stride.

And Foot pain? No problems. Great!

 

Now, maybe, you want to crank-it-up a little. You know. Go up a notch. Or, two…

 

Maybe now, you want a level 2 or 3 aerobic exercise.

You know. A serious sweat, slobber and spit type exercise.

You’re looking to,

Remember? Like when you were a kid.

 

It’s easy. You know how to do it.

It’s the arm action thing. Try it.

Ok. It’s a real hoot. But the ‘choo-choo’ ain’t no joke. It’s real-serious aerobic stuff.

You combine the (chugga-chugga) arm action. With a steady little half-step walk.

And you have a dead-serious aerobic exercise – like Now!  So. Be smart. Be aware. Breathe!

 

All joking aside. 25 yards of Choo-choo and your heart rate is going up. Period.

So, Don’t forget to breathe. Very important!

And if your eye sight grows dim at 50 yards.
